Hi, I am researching the Creech family tree to help my father in law identify a large picture of a Victorian lady his mother was given in a will in 1950. Marian Biggs wife of Herbert Creech 1884-1959 gave the picture. We think it was painted in the 1880s so could be Herbert’s grandmother. His father was Herbert Senior 1857-1910 so the lady might be Mary Anne Creech 1823-1900 wife of William Creech or may be his maternal grandmother
Would you like a copy of the picture? if so, please send me a request by email, my email is estherandsteve@btinternet.com and I can send you a photo. The family was quite large and she had several brothers and sisters and I wonder if there are other copies of the painting in the family. It would be nice to identify the unknown lady which has hung on the wall for half a century. I guess now it is only possible now with increased connectivity with the internet.
